Dating Safety Platform Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Tea App for Women ("Tea," "the App," "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our Service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must identify as a woman or non-binary person who dates men
  • You must complete our verification process
  • You must not have been previously banned from our Service
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

3. Account Registration & Verification

To maintain a safe community, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Complete identity verification when requested
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Not create multiple or fake accounts

4. User Conduct & Community Guidelines

You agree NOT to:

  • Post false, defamatory, or malicious content
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
  • Share revenge porn or intimate images without consent
  • Violate anyone's privacy or safety
  • Use the Service for illegal activities
  • Attempt to circumvent our security measures
  • Scrape, mine, or harvest user data
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Post spam or commercial content
  • Share content that promotes violence or hate

5. Content Rights & Licenses

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

  • Display your content within the Service
  • Store and backup your content securely
  • Share anonymized, aggregated insights for safety improvements

5.2 User Reviews & Reports

When posting about others, you certify that your content is truthful and based on personal experience. False reports may result in legal action.

Regarding our safety features:

  • Background checks are provided "as-is" from third-party sources
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of background information
  • You should not rely solely on our tools for safety decisions
  • Always trust your instincts and take appropriate precautions
  • Report any inaccuracies or concerns immediately

7. Content Moderation & Takedown

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content that violates these Terms
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
  • Cooperate with law enforcement when required
  • Review and investigate reported content

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • That the Service will meet all your needs
  • The behavior or actions of other users

8.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEA APP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USER INTERACTIONS, RELIANCE ON BACKGROUND CHECKS, OR CONTENT POSTED BY OTHERS.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tea App, its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of any rights of another party

All Tea App trademarks, logos, designs, and features are our exclusive property. You may not use them without written permission.

11. Subscription & Payments

  • Premium features require a paid subscription
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • Refunds are provided per our Refund Policy
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice
  • Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

  1. Good faith negotiation
  2. Mediation (if negotiation fails)
  3. Binding arbitration (if mediation fails)

You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits against Tea App.
